The Plate — Restaurant in Busan

I don’t usually give reviews but when I do is either it’s too good or the other way round…Ordered fish & chips and huge disappointment. The batter and fries are soggy. It says cod on the menu board but doesn’t taste cod at all. Fish is bland. No seasoning. Not even super peak season, there were only 1 person working (cook, clean, cashier).. I appreciate the fast service but not the food at all. 13,000krw for this plate? Decided to try as I saw someone from the British Embassy endorsed this place, a hand written note in the shop… no way imma coming back.. you don’t serve if you world would complain.. for a drink then yes.. but food.. hmm… not too sure bout the rest of the menu but if one can serve such standard,...

The Plate is one of the several artistic cafes in Gamcheon Village, sitting right next to the colourful staircases. Aside from drinks, they also serve simple western food like burgers and pastas. The place is quite small, with only the second floor for seating and the first floor for ordering, but you can have a good view of the village if you choose the window seats.
