I recently had the pleasure of dining at ASHA, an Indian Nepali restaurant in Busan, and I must say that it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the warm and inviting ambiance to the delectable dishes served, ASHA truly stands out as a gem in the culinary scene of Busan.
As soon as I entered the restaurant, I was greeted with a friendly smile and a welcoming atmosphere. The cozy and well-decorated interior created a soothing ambiance, perfect for enjoying a memorable dining experience. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and always ready to offer recommendations, making me feel like a valued guest.
Now let's talk about the food. ASHA's menu offers a tantalizing fusion of Indian and Nepali flavors, and each dish I tried was a testament to the chef's culinary expertise. The menu caters to a variety of tastes, from mild to spicy, ensuring that there is something for everyone.
I started my culinary journey with the traditional Nepali momo dumplings, and they were simply divine. The delicate dumpling skin was perfectly steamed, and the filling was a burst of flavors, accompanied by a delightful dipping sauce. It was a true symphony of taste and texture.
Next, I savored the aromatic and flavorful Indian curries. The chicken tikka masala was rich, creamy, and had just the right amount of spice. The butter naan served alongside was fluffy and complemented the curry perfectly. The flavors of the dishes were well-balanced, and the ingredients used were of high quality, evident in every bite.
To complete my meal, I indulged in some traditional Indian desserts. The gulab jamun, a sweet and syrupy treat, melted in my mouth, leaving behind a lingering sweetness. It was a fitting end to a remarkable dining experience.
Overall, ASHA Indian Nepali restaurant exceeded my expectations. The combination of authentic flavors, attentive service, and inviting ambiance made it a memorable visit. Whether you're a fan of Indian or Nepali cuisine, or simply looking to explore new flavors, ASHA is a definite must-visit in Busan. I highly recommend this restaurant to locals and tourists alike who appreciate exceptional food and a warm dining experience.

Read moreThings I liked: chicken tikka was made very nicely. It was tender and cooked perfectly. Things I disliked: Basmati rice was extremely dry. This is unforgiving. I recommend you do not order it. Order Korean rice instead. Which is sad, I know. Mutton vindaloo: the few pieces of mutton were of poor quality, had the tiniest 5 pieces of mutton. Avoid this dish. Lassi: was clearly watered down. If you order it, make sure you tell them do NOT water it down. If they claim it needs to be for whatever reason, then cancel it.
I understand stretching to try and make a buck but this comes at the expense of losing your customers. I hope you focus on quality and take this feedback positively and improve. I would like to see you succeed without jeopardizing your...
