Jangduk Eels — Restaurant in Busan

I’m sure the food is delicious, but I feel they were taking advantage of the fact that I’m a foreigner.

I understand the culture of having to purchase 2 meals for tables of one. That said…

Online reviews recently said eel portions start at 50000 won per person, but why was it suddenly 70000 won minimum? Has Korea experienced massive inflation only in your restaurant?

If I have to order 2 portions of eel, that is minimum 140000 won.

If I can order a more reasonably priced second meal, then I would have accepted the inflated price for one portion of eel.

This is exceptionally greedy, especially for a nearly empty restaurant.

This is such a shame, because the private rooms were lovely, and it would have been nice to experience the eel being grilled...

The restaurant is in a nice location, near the central area. You will have your private dining room and waiter. The side dishes are beautifully presented and the staff will guide you how to eat them. And the best thing is that the eel meat is delicious, the outside is grilled until golden and crispy but the inside is soft and sweet.
