Yongi's Tangsuyuk 용이네탕슉 — Restaurant in Busan

Heard so much about the sweet and sour pork (탕수육) from here and couldn't wait to taste it. After I ate it, I was still waiting to taste it. So disappointed. The meat was overcooked (which is better than under-cooked) and tough. Even the scissors had a hard time cutting through some of the pieces.

The xiao long bao (pictured) was not dry, but it definitely was not soupy. Barely any broth came out and the dough seemed thick.

Maybe it was because of the late hour that we went, but sheesh. If this is how these foods are supposed to be, I'll pass all day long. I have a hard time wasting food that isn't spoiled or rotten, but I sure regret filling up on this bland,...

Had the soy garlic fried pork. It was a disappointment as it was not crispy at all - flour was not fried through. The flavour was not bad, taste like most soy garlic...

주말에 서면을 거닐다 용이네 탕슉앞에 줄 서 있는 사람을 보고 한 번 방문해야겠다고 생각하다가 평일 오후 5시정도에 방문했습니다. 저녁시간이 아님에도 이미 1층은 손님으로 꽉차있었습니다. 친구와 탕수육과 짬봉세트를 시켰는데 짬봉위에 맛있게 보이는 굴까지 올려줬습니다. 얼큰하게 맛있더군요. 탕수육은 살이 꽉찬 탕수육이었는데 맛있었습니다. 남자 둘이라 약간 부족할 줄 알았는데 다 먹으니 배가 불렀습니다. 깐풍탕수육과 유린탕수육도 꼭 맛보고 싶었습니다. 가격도 비싸지 않고 직원도 친철했습니다. 주방도 오픈되어 요리하는 과정을 지켜볼 수 있었습니다. 아쉬운 점은 너무 맛있어서 포장해서 가족들과 먹고 싶었는데 가게 원칙상 포장은 절대 안된다고 합니다. 용이네탕슉을 즐기기 위해서는 방문하는 수 밖에 없네요. 지난번에는 밥만 먹고 왔지만 다음에는 친구들과 술 마시러 가 볼 예정입니다. 식사로도 술안주로도 전부 괜찮네요. 서면에서 약속 있으면 한번 가보세요~ 늦게 가면 오래 기다릴 수도 있으니 일찍가서 용이네...
