Hwangnamppang (Hwangnam Bread) - Original Store — Restaurant in Gyeongju-si

I know there are hundreds branches of this bakery in other cities, but you must visit this head quarter place if you have any chance to go Gyeongju as taste of the freshly baked 'hwangnamppang' is not comparable to which in branches. The name might mislead you, but it isn’t actually a bread. Rather, it is more like a moon cake or a bun filled with red beans. You will definitely like it if you are fond of red beans. Also, I have seen people actually believing that this is a Korean traditional snack probably dating back to the Silla dynasty period, but it was in fact first baked here in 1939 (Still quite remarkable, I guess).
