Guesthouse Santa — Hotel in Gyeongju-si

Pros Walking distance to the famous sightseeing spots Daereungwon, Cheomseongdae, Gyerim Forest, Donggun Wolji and etc. Adjacent to fashion street where included Daiso, Artbox, Adidas and etc. 15 minutes from the Bus Express Terminal by walking. Comfortable environment for staying. The night was quieter than what I’ve expected before even though the 2bd floor was Karaoke room.

Cons Simple breakfast without sliced bread :( Hard to find the actual location of the Guesthouse. Little bit inconvenient because there are only two shared bathrooms.

We had a lovely time staying at Santa’s Guesthouse. Contrary to some of the reviews we read before we arrived we saw plenty of Santa (who was really nice and helpful), and managed to find the building without any difficulty. Santa’s Guesthouse was very clean, had everything we needed and was in a great location in the middle of shops, restaurants but not far from the train or bus stations and things to see. We stayed in the 8 bed dorm, but it was nice and quiet. There was a great living room / common room / kitchen area too. We stayed 2 nights at the Santa Guesthouse and it was really cute. They have bread and eggs for breakfast and provide tea and coffee. There was great heating (it was chilly in November!) and the bunks were comfortable and clean. ||The only criticism was that the signage isn't great, so it's easy to miss the entrance, and the hostel owner is pretty much never there. It was fine for our group, as we speak a bit of Korean and have Korean phone numbers (so could contact him easily) but if you are a travelling tourist then this might be an issue. ||I would totally stay...
