Gyeongseong Korean Beef Bulgogi Guwol Branch — Restaurant in Incheon

Went here with my wife and kid on our first day in Incheon and can honestly say it was one of our best meals in Korea. The place was very nice inside, well ventilated and spacious. We got the set meal with bulgogi and beef tartar for two and it came with lots of sides, and a spicy soup. The portions are large and we were more than full by the end. I suggest you get yourself a makkeoli as well if you want a good alcoholic beverage to go with the meal, you’ll drink it from what looks like metal bowls. The bulgogi will get cooked on a metal plate which they’ll pour beef broth over and settle on the sides. All the marinated beef drippings will also collect there so you can fry up the beef and then drench it in sauce for extra flavour. They’ll have extra broth for you to pour over if the grill gets dry. There will be some noodles in the broth as well and we had some japchae with the side dishes that we threw in, it soaked up all the broth and was so delicious. If you’ve never had bulgogi this way, you definitely need to try it, the flavours are so good especially when you put the broth over some rice. We came a little later in the evening so it was quieter, and the owner came by to cook most of the meal for us, the service was great and they were very attentive to our family.
