Review of Starbucks Experience
Rating: ⭐⭐☆☆☆ (2/5)
Summary: Starbucks generally prides itself on excellent customer service and flexibility, but my recent experience fell short of these expectations. I was disappointed with their unwillingness to accommodate a simple and reasonable request.
Details: • I wanted to purchase a cup of tea, but I specifically asked for the tea bag to be served on the side. Instead of fulfilling this request, the staff declined to provide a cup of hot water, even though I was prepared to pay for the full price of the tea. • This rigid policy felt unnecessarily restrictive and unaccommodating. A request for hot water is not uncommon, and flexibility in service would have gone a long way in enhancing the experience.
Suggestions for Improvement: More Flexible Policies: Allow customers reasonable adjustments to how their beverages are served, especially when they’re willing to pay. Empathy in Service: Encourage staff to be more understanding of customer needs and situations, focusing on creating a positive experience.
Conclusion: While Starbucks is often known for its convenience and customer-friendly culture, this instance was disappointing. A little flexibility could have turned this into a pleasant experience instead of a frustrating one. I hope they reconsider policies like this to better meet customer expectations...
Read moreToday i went there for my breakfast. My first order was fine. Here is the issue. I was lining up my 2 cup of tea. a man came to cup my line. He was looking at the sandwich and some stuffs in fridge. I was standing front of the fridge. Then i kindly gave him to my space for his choices. Because we are all exhausted of our long term flight and baristas too. I worked +6 years in the biggest Korean coffee branch in my country. I already knew about costumer service what does it mean. The Barista with eyeglasses she was might be a tired. If barista working on that time in branch who have to behave positively talk to everyone. I explained my first paragraph. Then she said why are you standing in here. You should be lining up behind all of the costumers. I didn’t say anything i just lined up and while waiting for my turn. When my turn arrived i gave my order and who was trying to explain that previous situation by my self. She doesn’t seem like nice to me. I just trying to let her understand my feelings. Unfortunately i don’t think she gets my point! That’d be fine. I can take care of my self. Focus on your costumer service not related to any country. Hugely...
Read moreI visit this Starbucks 4 times a year. And have done so for 8 years. I have nerve damage in my hands which doesn't allow me to feel very much in my fingers. So if I order a hot drink and it comes single cupped it's an 80% chance I will accidentally crush it and make a mess. As such I always ask for and get double cupped drinks. I explained this to the barista and she said " this is Korea we don't do that". I explained she would likely need to get a mop then .... she asked another person and we had the same conversation. Finally after explaining to a third person that I was happy to buy a cup if necessary she told me they would make a one time exception for me.. and that this is Korea we don't do that
Since I have never had this problem before, I am assuming it's an anti American response. It's ok I guess, I can be anti Korean products 🤣🤣🤣 if that's the way they now...
