Kitty and I recently had the pleasure of visiting Blanc Rocher on Udo Island, and it was an absolute delight. The cafe's location is simply breathtaking, boasting panoramic views of the ocean that were both calming and inspiring. The large windows offered a stunning view of the sea, making every moment at the cafe feel like a postcard.
We were especially drawn to the cafe's unique ambience. The interior is modern and minimalist, with a bright, airy feel thanks to the expansive windows. It was a cosy and comfortable space, especially since it was quite chilly outside, around 11 degrees with a strong wind. We decided to stay indoors, enjoying the warmth and the stunning views. Even though we stayed inside, Blanc Rocher is definitely Insta-worthy, so we took lots of pictures both inside and out.
The menu offered a tempting selection of desserts and drinks, including Udo peanut-themed options, which we were eager to try. We ended up ordering a Basque burnt cheesecake, regular ice cream, and an Udo peanut cream latte.
Kitty said the burnt cheesecake was one of the best she's ever had, and we loved how the staff recommended the peanut latte. They said it was really creamy and unique and advised us not to drink it straight from the cup because the sweetness on top balanced perfectly with the slight bitterness at the bottom. The peanut latte was truly special and definitely worth trying.
While the peanut ice cream wasn't our personal favourite, it's clear why it's a local favourite. We can see how the unique flavour would appeal to many, and it's definitely worth trying if you're curious about Udo's local specialities.
Overall, we had a wonderful time at Blanc Rocher. The cafe's stunning ocean views, cosy ambience, and delicious treats (especially the burnt cheesecake and peanut latte) created a perfect setting for a relaxing and enjoyable afternoon. We highly recommend this cafe to anyone...

Don’t mix the latter but the peanut blend in so well with the silky coffee and cream. The sweetness from the peanut clean off the coffee bitterness. Iced latte is not at ice cold but good balance.
The nut broche is so crispy outside and fluffy inside. A very outstanding pastry. Sweetness is on French style that I like very very much.
