Dining Experience @ Cafe Delmoondo (델문도카페). . Located at the picturesque Hamdeok Beach, Cafe Delmoondo (델문도카페) is a tourist attraction in its own right, offering a relaxing ambience to soak in the view. . Ambience is ridiculously pretty, almost like heaven on earth. The rustic wooden industrial cottage is well air-conditioned, with ample and comfortable modern furnishings spread across its 2 floors. . The indoor seating has unobstructed views with floor-to-ceiling glass panels, but the outdoor al-fresco seating has the benefit of cooling breezes. . From the spacious decks, you'll be able to take in the turquoise green blue ocean waters, the white sandy beaches, the gentle green rolling hills, the deep blue skies with fluffy white clouds. . Service at Cafe Delmoondo is pure self-service, with ordering, payment, and collection over the counter, diners are also expected to clean-up after themselves. Expect to queue for a bit, as staff patiently take their time to respond to queries, demonstrating decent product knowledge. The small bakery display gets rather cramped...
Read moreA really nice place on the beach, with amazing views and fantastic food. The drinks are really nice, and the pastries were some if the best we had in Jeju. The only downside is the crowds.
We went in December, which is typically the start of Jeju's low season, especially with the unusually cold with very strong winds (unpleasant when outdoors). But Cafe Delmoondo's car park and inside spaces were so crowded, it was almost a challenge to get in and out (both the car park and the cafe itself).
We spent 2 hours there and saw many groups of tourists (mostly Korean) come in and out. Some didn't even drink or eat, but to get out of the cold wind. It wasn't that noisy, and people were generally well behaved, but many different people were running around trying to find and secure tables and seats, so ordering, walking to and from the counter with trays was a little challenging.
Overall, still a nice place to visit.

Read moreExpensive coffee at 7 but I guess you have to consider the location. Smack down on the beach. You can't get closer to the ocean than that. They have two floors with wrap around outside deck on each . The floor under the paying counter seems to be cooler. Also a picnic style area. Not the best bakery (seems limited) but good. If you go at night they sell off the baked goods cheaper. Also they roast the coffee at the location. The machine looks brand new and techie. Bottom line there is no place that can beat the view day or night. Update: So, I keep coming back. I'm here just before the mad season. The place is cooler now. If I remember correctly, the air was down last time. The ice latte tastes great, but be prepared to pay extra. Then I went back the next day for a hot latte, sorry I don't like the taste of...
