Wow, their abalone dishes blew my mind. I was ambitious and wanted to order everything from the menu, but ended up we ordered 3 out of 4 - porridge abalone, bibimbap abalone and grilled abalone.

The porridge abalone has a very nice and mild flavour, it grows on you as you eat. As for the bibimbap, do take note there is a way to properly eat them - once served do take out all the cooked rice from the stone pot to avoid the rice from scorching further, then add hot water to the stone pot and cover the lid. You can enjoy the soaked scorched rice at the end of your meal.

My favourite was the grilled abalone. The texture was so tender, flavour was mildly sweet and lightly glazed with butter. Honestly it was worth every penny.

Do expect at least a 30 minute queue. We were there around 230pm but there was...

Another good recommendation by a friend. Seems like a famous and popular place !!

We had the Grilled belt fish Grilled abalone Seafood abalone stew Abalone stone pot rice Abalone porridge The free fried fish : the condition? Writing this review 🤣🤣🤣 Well, it’s being served even if u dun write a review 😉

The winner is …..grilled abalone. The runner up is …seafood abalone stew The 2nd runner up…is belt fish.

Personally, I prefer the abalone 죽 from Seoul (usually available during winter) to the Jeju’s style.

Very little English is spoken but the owner actively uses Google Translate to engage the customers.

There’s free flow of banchan and coffee !! Good...

we ordered the abalone rice and abalone porridge. each table gets served with generous banchan and also a fish!! the fish was very yummy and you can order another if you’re like for a small price. the abalone dishes were served very quickly and there are instructions on the wall on how to eat the dish.

the abalone dishes were good, but we felt they were not seasoned as well as the rest of the food we had in korea. nevertheless, they were good dishes and perhaps allowed us to taste the true flavour of abalone. highly recommended if you love abalone! the view for every restaurant in jeju-do is also...
