Stage House — Restaurant in Jeju

Had a good dinner here, nice food, views and vibes. Food wise, I had the stage house bacon cheeseburger (the one with the 'best' tag). It was good, patty had a nice crust, and it went well with the bacon, very juicy tomatoes and fluffy buns. I wish the patty was thicker and medium/medium rare (they do it well done). We’ve been in Korea for 8 days. Felt a bit naughty getting a western meal because the food we’ve eaten has been so good. But.. this place is bomb. Juicy chicken burger, well seasoned beef burger and delicious chips. As if it needed a cherry on top they have Hawaiian big wave beer which is v yummy. Further cherry’s include a great view of the ocean and Sunrise peak and free - yes free - darts....

스테이지하우스는 원래 서핑 성지로 유명한 곳이다. 카이트서핑, 스노클링, 패들보드, 다이빙 강습을 한다. 위치가 아주 좋다. 바다 바로 앞. 성산일출봉과 우도가 양쪽으로 보인다. 요즘 스테이지하우스는 버거로 유명하다. 2021년 5월 일구공 버거가 들어오면서다. 2020년 8월 서울 성수동에서 문을 연 최현석 셰프의 일구공 버거가 두 번째로 영업을 시작한 곳이다. 일구공은 최현석의 키를 뜻한다. 이로 인해 스테이지하우스라고도 하고 일구공 스테이지하우스라고도 부른다. 여기선 190베이컨치즈(12800), 우마미밤(10500), 어니언킹(11500), 싱글클래식치즈(8500), 고기중독자(13800), 쓰촨치킨버거(8500), 어항마요가지프라이(5500), 투빅웨지고르곤(6500), 투빅웨지감자(5000)를 판다. 나는 평소 버거를 먹지 않는다. 싱글클래식치즈, 어니언킹, 가지프라이, 웨지감자를 시켜서 먹었다. 모두 다 맛있었다. 사람에 따라서 호불호가 갈리겠지만 누구도 맛없다는 평가를 내리진 않겠다는 생각이 들었다. 실내는 미국 어느 휴양 도시에 온 듯한 느낌이 들게 꾸며져 있다. 구경하기도 좋고 사진 찍기도 좋다. 여행지 기분이 들게 만들어진 곳. 여기서 바라본...
