초밥충전 — Restaurant in Seogwipo-si

Mom and pops kind of place, it felt like we were sitting in someone's living room... Which given to the layout of the ground floor, it could've been the casw. The place is cosy and homey. Food preparation took a while, so we knew everything was prepared from a scratch. Instead of ordering single pieces of sushi, we went for a set for 2 people. A lot of the menu was "americanised" versions of sushi, but they also had standard sushi. The set filled us well, everything was tasting fresh, no fishy smells. The miso soup was mid, had better in different place we visited later...

Best sushi rolls I've had in a very long time. They also serve, sushi, sashimi, etc but rolls is the chef's specialty and that is what the shop is famous for. Being middle of summer, all importled bottled beers on their menu are 5,000 won/bottle now. (In case you are driving but still fancy a beer, they have 3! kinds of (German)...

This place looks small and off buy itself, but don't let the location fool you. It has wonderful sushi at a great price. The owners speak English, there are English menus available, and even a small vegetarian menu. The place is also pet friendly.
