Hmmm… so I’ve traveled to quite a few places around the world, and have had the privilege to taste a wide variety of breads. I want to say that this store has one of the most delicious breads I’ve ever tasted. I will be very honest though, they serve bread from the previous day early the following morning, so I can understand some of the 4 even 3 star reviews, but around noon they put out a variety of new pastries!!! What I really appreciate also, is how they have the small samples, I think it’s very considerate of them🥳 I think the owner saw the happiness in my eyes when I tasted the bread, he gave us some free bread🥰 I really appreciate how I don’t feel like i’m getting robbed from just buying bread 🥲 This is one of the few places I can go to for something delicious at a “makes me so happy” price. I’m always looking for great deals wherever I go. I really, really enjoyed visiting here. My favorite is the 흑임자 빵, I hope you can find your favorite too! Can’t wait to come...
Read moreBoryong is really a gem in this seemingly quiet and mundane island. The various creative pastries and buns are very interesting and delicious. The owner put up several big pieces of almost all the items that they are selling as samples. You can get filled up by just eating the samples!
Eventually I bought garlic bread, which tasted really fantastic, along with kimchi mini pizza, cheese pound cake and a few others. The girl in the shop even gave me 2 more as gifts! The prices are very reasonable, even without the 2 free gifts I paid about 15,500won for 6 items.
When we got back to our room we ate the buns and they were really, really tasty just like the samples.
Highly recommended place, even if you don't stay near here do drop by and...
Read moreWe were on the way to seongsan ilchubong and needed a quick breakfast so I found this small bakery to pick up a snack. I’m surprised they only have a few reviews on Google as they are quite popular on Naver with 3000+ reviews. I came to try the popular Korean cream cheese bread but ended up with a few other things. The shop owner sets out huge samples of every single bread for you to try and also even offers complimentary coffee for customers. She spoke a little English but was so nice and even helped me out with the coffee machine. All the breads were so good that it made it hard to choose. I ended up enjoying the garlic bread the most and also the mugwort mochi bread. Overall, I highly recommend this spot for the bread and...
