Jangseungpo Restaurant — Restaurant in Seogwipo-si

We got the 2-person stewed mackerel (28,000 won) and I got to say this is the best dish I had in Jeju! The fish tastes fresh and meaty, not tough. Succulent and juicy. The sauce is umami and a little spicy. Best paired with rice. Daikon radish is soft after being stewed for awhile in the sauce. Banchan is so-so, seaweed soup is not bad.

Do note that if you come as 2 pax, you must order the dish as a 2-person portion. You cannot order 1 person portion of 2 dishes (I don't know why, it's their rule). There is no English menu, so use google translate camera. It's worth...

오랜 맛집을 잃음.. 제주로 이주하기 전 부터 여행오면 꼭 방문했고.. 가족들 친구들 안 데리고 오는 지인이 없을 정도고 혼술하러 갈 정도로 애정하는 식당이었음..

일주일 전 갔을때 해물뚝배기1, 갈치조림2 주문함 뭔가 예전보다 갈치가 양이 작다 싶었지만 요즘 물가대비 착한 가격이니 담엔 둘이와도 3인분 시키자고 생각함

그리고 일주일 뒤 친구들과 재방문.. 해물뚝배기1, 갈치조림3을 주문했는데.. 갈치조림에 갈치를 한토막씩 가져갔는데.. 세토막이 남았길래.. 지난주에 찍은 사진과 비교해보니.. 이건 진짜 너무 2인분 같았음.. 일하시는 이모님께 물어보니 우리가 2인분 주문 한거라함 그러면서 1인분만 조리가 불가해서 어쩔 수 없다고.. 근데 갑자기 다른 어멍이 나오더니 이거 3인분 맞다고 원래 1인분 두 토막 조리한다 시전.. 여기서 부터 기분 팍 상했고.. 지난주 왔던 사진 보여주면서 이게 맞냐고 하니까 맞고 원래 1인분에 두 토막 들어가는거라고..

결국 3인분 다 계산하고 나왔고.. 나름 오랜 맛집이었는데 이제 다른집 찾아야지.. 여기도 결국 관광객 바가지 씌우는 식당이라고 밖에 생각이 안 듬..

그리고 일주일 뒤.. 친구가 재방문해 2인분을 주문했는데...

CUIDADO!!!!!! NOS TIMARON!! Al pedir la cuenta vimos que era una cantidad mas elevada del precio que ponia en la carta. Pedimos el ticket pero estaba en coreano. Cuando pasamos el traductor nos dimos cuenta que nos habían cobrado los platos mas caros de carta que no eran los que nos habian servido. Nos cobraron casi el doble de lo que correspondia.Me parece mentira que abusen así de los turistas. NO LO RECOMENDAMOS...
