This place doesn’t need another glowing review—it’s already built and maintained a stellar reputation for over 40 years. The quality remains consistently excellent, and everything on the menu reflects that standard. They’ve recently expanded into a new building right next to the original, but the charm and character remain intact. From the parking attendant to the waitstaff, the service is warm, efficient, and professional. Best of all, the prices are still very reasonable for the quality and experience you get.

Food was good but they clearly didn’t pay too much attention on the BBQ, over-cooking the meat. Great ambience with 2 or 3 open floors. Spacious so you won’t feel claustrophobic. Lots of stairs so be aware if dining w/ kids or elderly. Parking available w/ attendants helping...

7/27(일) 근처 학교 체육관에서 배드민턴 두시간 가량 열심히 한 후, 내기턱으로 먹으러 갔던 평양냉면. 고기집으로 유명한데, 운동하고 땀에 절은 상태에서 고기를 먹기는 조금 헤비해서... 운좋게 주차장 자리가 바로 나서 빠르게 입장. 원래는 차를 타고 대기를 2~30분 해야한다던데... (여느 유명하다는 고기집들과 마찮가지로 주차아저씨들 꽤나 불친절...)

원래는 냉면 4인분을 시키려했으나, 갑자기 육회비빔밥이 땡겨서 두 커플 모두 평냉+육회비빔밥 주문 주문한 식사 나오기전 둘러본 인테리어는 꽤 모던하면서 전통적 느낌이 깔끔하게 살아있는 듯. 주변 점심 식사하는 가족들 보니 대부분 어르신들과 대가족 단위로 온듯했는데, 또 젊은 커플들도 드문드문 보임. 고기집인데, 고기 냄세 별로 나지 않아서 신기했음.

식전 스프 같이 단호박옥수수죽?이 시원하게 한컵씩 나옴 집에서 만들어서 또 먹어보고 싶은 맛...한그릇 더 달라고하면 더 주심...인심 짱 인듯.ㅎㅎ

평양냉면 심심한듯 하면서도 오묘한 간이 맞춰진...시원한 국물과 쫄깃한듯 하면서도 잘 끊어지는 면발.. 다들 그래서 북악정 평냉은 먹어보라는 거구나... 사이드로 나온 무침과 상당히 맛깔나게 어울림. 육회비빔밥 역시 고깃집이라서 그런지 육질이 쫄깃하고 양념이 잘 베인 육회와 마치 오색궁중요리처럼 종류별로 잘 담겨나온 야채를 고추장소스에 쓱쓱 비벼먹으니...꿀 맛 더 좋았던 것은 마치 본 요리인 것처럼 같이 나온 된장찌개... 안에있는 조개까지 싱싱한 느낌, 그리고 사이드 같지 않게 재료가 많이 들어가서 그냥 맨밥 먹어도 맛날듯함.
