Dongjak Red Sky Cafe — Restaurant in Seoul

Nice view of the sunset and city skyline... tends to be crowded especially by couples wanting to spend some laid back time on the weekends... not to discouraged those lonesomes who just want to chill, sit back, and read some books, if you are korean or fluent in Korean, that is. Only because the books in here are, of course, all in Korean but they are free to read. Just disappointing to see some books though being violated. I mean it is already free, why the need to mark or rip it apart... There's also a convenience store, which is like EVERYWHERE IN KOREA, I mean literally, convenience stores are like mushrooms over here and for some odd reason they even have these stores in some hotels.. Anyway, going back to the Cafe, it is nothing fancy. It is a casual place and the interiors are decent enough with chairs and tables that serve best for it's purpose but what is nice about this facility is really the view of the Hanggang river side both the Gangbuk and Gangnam sides.. so if you are in the city, go check it out cause one can easily reach it, of course, with one's own car because there is also a parking area on the bridge. However, like I said, it tends to be crowded so slots might be filled in very fast and there's not much slots to begin with. If you take the public transportation, one can take the subway Line 4 and get off Dongjak station. From the station head down to the riverside and you'll see two sides of the Cafes.. Take the elevator or if one would like to burn some calories then you can also take the stairways.....

Very beautiful view but there is no actual cafe it's more of the convenient store with few coffee and aid options that are low quality. People go there not to eat or drink but for atmosphere. There are few places to charge your phone so you need to come a bit early and take a place. In the evenings it is REALLY crowded. So you can end up not finding a place to sit. They have bookshelves also with many books in Korean for people to read. You can buy vine in the store. A lot off...

Easily among the best places without costing much, with great snacks and drinks, scenic views of hills, river and bridges, and awesone comfort all in one !

Highly recommended for a stop by for coffee or beer ! Open air or enclosed areas provided. Free USB charge and wifi !
