Their hand-drip coffee is hands down the best in town! Their apple pies are so good too. I know some said in the reviews their pastries are overcooked to the degree that it tastes almost burnt. I don’t necessarily agree with that. I like that crispy outside & chewy/soft inside texture (rather than those half-baked jaundice-color pastries you see in Kroger/ Walmart or something) and the outer layer gives a very nice caramel-y flavor.
Though I might agree with those reviewers complaining on some staff members with attitude—I’ve noticed some of them are not the most friendly staff even if I interacted with them in Korean. Too sad that they put egg on their own face by providing bad services so much that some non-native Koreans/international travelers feel unwelcome (despite the fact that they have amazing coffee!). Fritz can definitely work on that issue & improve!

Eventually both the adults became restless - so we decided to explore cafe scene nearby our hotel. After making sure that the kids were good, we took a stroll towards Fritz Coffee Company.
To our delight, the cafe was located in a standalone house unit amidst skyscrapers around it. The exterior and interior were mixture of both old and new design and it was very cosy inside.
Fresh pastries were replenished from time to time - and both of us took some time to relax our mind and soul with coffee and coffee bun, while taking photos at the same time.
Walked back to our hotel happily after...
Read moreI never expected to find the best flat white I've had in a long time in Seoul but I was pleasantly surprised. The baristas really seem to love making good coffee and all the staff are pleasant and very helpful despite the place being packed sometimes and I mean packed, this Sunday morning there was a very long queue for their delicious baked in-house croissants. On to the food. They make a simple ham and cheese croissants so delicious. I usually hate croissants, flaky stupid things, but mine was perfection. I look forward to trying the rest of their food. I highly recommend this place for the best coffee in Seoul and if you're there on the weekend for food be there...
