Their menu consists of several unconventional dishes, which feature mostly seasonal and local ingredients. Not only is the food creatively designed and thoughtfully plated, it also offers surprising flavor experiences. Staff explains how to best enjoy their creations, since some of them are quite novel.

Prices range between 12.000 KRW and 19.000 KRW per dish, which is above average but seems adequate regarding the quality of food and location. Some dishes are smaller and can serve as appetizers, while others are more filling. A few typical Korean side dishes can be ordered in addition to that.

Regarding the location, the restaurant is somewhat new and it appears rather inconspicuous on first glance. Its name is not visible, except for six large dots ...... Jumjumjumjumjumjum is an amazing place hidden away in the Digital Media City district of Seoul.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is excellently curated, with beautifully ornate hand crafted lamps, simple yet striking table settings, and comfortable (yet stylish) seating setting the tone. They also have ambient music playing gently in the background, which adds to the overall experience.

The restaurant offers a set menu - of eight dishes served over four courses - which is explained in detail (both calmly and wonderfully) by the waitress (or waiter), who clearly has in depth knowledge of the components of each dish, and a recommendation of how best to enjoy it, demonstrating a clear passion for the food.

The service is attentive, but never overbearing, and the staff are all incredibly friendly and welcoming (from the owner to the chefs, who all made a point of greeting me).

The food itself is divine! Entirely vegan, filled with rich colours, incredible flavours, and subtle combinations that provide a unique and delicious eating experience.
