Kojacha — Restaurant in Seoul

The good: excellent, attentive service— our tea cups were never empty. The private room felt special, and the art was quirky and added to the unique atmosphere. Portion sizes were generous: We didn’t finish several of the later courses and still left feeling full. Finally, the first couple of dishes were lovely: cold abalone salad, sashimi, and a mixed set with some vegetables, a bite of taro, a square of pistachio cream, and some octopus

However, we didn’t enjoy the next few dishes: shark fin soup, sea cucumber, and some others. Some were a bit too salty, and generally the portion sizes were too big. Finally, the dessert was a hunk of melon with persimmon sauce. The meal lost the refinery of the first...

Went there during a workday lunch, was late but the staff was very polite. We were seated in a private room, and the food tasted actually better than the pictures I've seen elsewhere.

기본적으로 중식 스타일의 레스토랑 입니다. 중식을 베이스로 하고 일식을 가미한 것으로 보입니다, 제게는. 성인 한 사람 배불리 먹을 수 있는, 충분한 양이 나옵니다. 레스토랑에 와인 등 주류가 잘 갖춰져 있고 와인 페어링도 몇 종류가 있습니다. 랍스터 회(라임 껍질을 갈아서 뿌려주시는)와 불도장 그리고 무엇보다 동파육이 굉장히 인상적이었습니다. 불도장은, 제게는, 간이 좀 세서 차를 조금 부어 먹었는데 더욱 맛있게 먹을 수 있었습니다. 삭스핀 요리는 먹으면서 좀 양심의 가책을 느꼈습니다. 자장면의 면이 국수면처럼 가는 면이네요. 가장 마지막에 과일 디저트가 나오는데 차(커피나 홍차 같은)는 별도로 나오지는 않네요. 식사와 함께 곁들일 수 있는 차(자스민차인가?)가 계속 제공 되어서 그런가 싶기도 합니다. 쉐프님 미소가 아주 백점 만점짜리 미소 입니다 ㅎㅎ
