Heaven for Matcha Lovers! If you're a matcha fan, this place is a must-visit. SUPER MATCHA offers a wide range of matcha-based drinks and desserts — from rich matcha lattes to creamy roll cakes and soft-serve ice cream. I tried both the original matcha latte and the seasonal strawberry matcha, and they were both delicious! The balance between the earthy matcha flavor and the sweetness was just perfect. The staff were friendly, and service was quick despite the crowd. The store design is also super cool and modern, with everything in green tones that scream matcha vibes. Highly recommended if you're looking for quality matcha in a stylish setting!

Nice place in Seongsu for a quick matcha pitstop. The interior is very nice and they have an extensive menu for matcha. I ordered pure matcha with water only. Their matcha on its own was only meh… Their flavored drinks/lattes are probably good but I only enjoy matcha on its own and this one wasn’t really good. Their robot thingy is cool but I noticed it uses a plastic whisk? It’s probably for functionality but matcha should be whisked with a bamboo whisk as far as I know… I also got a matcha cookie on the side and it has little if no matcha flavor at all! Just the color to be honest :D

Summary: in-store is great, but hard pass on the take-home sachets.

The matcha + cake we had in-store was nice, recommend visiting the physical outlet. However, it's disappointing that the take-home experience falls very short because the boxes of SUPER MATCHA PURE sachets we bought as souvenirs and gifts turned out to be very astringent and bitter, with a noticeably yellowish-green colouring (to visualise, the taste and colour profile is directly similar to cheap instant sencha powders commonly used in Japanese restaurants). We had experimented by making it into koicha, usucha and even matcha lattes but the grassy/bitter taste still dominated every drink unpleasantly. This was truly a let-down which we did not expect from the brand, after the good experience in their physical store. We were originally hoping to give our friends back home a taste of the experience we had in Seongsu, but unfortunately the take-home products turned out to be very...
