SWOYAMBHU RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Seoul

This is a review of the lunch set.

I have written a review of the dinner menu and have been wanting to try out their lunch menu so I went over during my lunch break.

There are a few sets to choose from and I decided on the Nepali thali set which came with aloo matar (potato and green pea curry), chicken curry, dal (lentil curry), pickles which was sliced onion and a green chili. In the picture they had a naan but didn't say it on the menu and I didn't ask so I ordered a naan but the set menu does come with a small naan and rice.

The set menu cost ₩10,000 and for that price I got a very tasty variety of Indian dishes which filled my craving all morning for Indian good. The different curries also make for a tasty treat as you get to sample a number of dishes which have their own unique flavours.

The aloo matar and dal had a nice balance of flavour which wasn't spicy and even though I like a lot of heat from my curry I enjoyed the mildness of these curries and the chicken curry also went down a treat as the flavours in this curry were very tasty and made a great addition to the meal.
