Via Merengue — Restaurant in Seoul

Since B'Mucho Cantina closed, we've been looking for a good Mexican stop and decided to give this place a try.

We ordered the enchiladas and carnitas burrito to eat and were also given some salsa and chips. A Mexican meal isn't complete without a classic lime margarita and we also got the sunset highball.

The enchiladas was nicely packed with tender pull apart pork that was well seasoned and had a nice spice flavour. It wasn't filled with rice and lettuce which is a good thing and the sauce that is poured all over had a nice sour cream taste to it and created a good balance of taste with the pork filling.

The carnitas burrito was of a good size and not too filled with rice. There was a good flavour from the meat that was also very tender but could have done with a little more spice in my opinion but still a very tasty burrito and having some of the salsa to dip added an extra flavour of smoked chipotle.

The margarita was very nice and strong and with the crushed ice it was very refreshing. The highball wasn't anything special and would suggest sticking to...

I tried to go here a few months ago. It was pouring outside and we had wandered in the rain looking for this place. When we arrived it was about 5 minutes prior to opening time so we sat on the porch. The staff came out and told us we couldn’t. Even though we were looking at a menu and obviously wanted to eat there. We asked if we could stand in the porch for 5minutes. They told us to stand out in the rain. We said if we did that we wouldn’t be coming to eat there and the staff laughed and said ok. Won’t be coming back!...

First of all I'm from Los Angeles CA and I know mexican food. I grew up there. This place has enchiladas that looks just like a burrito. When I asked the waitress about it, she said it was enchiladas. The burrito I ordered was smaller than the enchiladas my girlfriend ordered. This place was ok, but not authentic. It's fusion. I noticed most places outside of the US is not authentic. I get it, but restaurants should not claim to be authentic when they don't even know what a real mexican enchiladas...
