속초에 냉면집이 많은듯 하여 검색을 해보니.. 거의 30군데 이상이 나오는듯 합니다. 단천면옥이 리뷰도 많고, 평점도 높아 방문해보았습니다. 비빔, 물냉면 각 1개씩 주문했습니다. 비빔냉면을 주문하니 육수조금과 양념을 추가조 내어줍니다. 육수와 양념을 넣고 비비게 되니 잘 비벼지네요.. 그리고 물냉면의 육수는 멸치맛이 나는데.. 메뉴판에 보니.. 사골육수에 멸치육수를 더했다고 합니다. 멸치육수맛이 진하게 나고, 조금씩 먹다가 식초와, 겨자를 더해 먹으니 나름 괜찮았습니다. 식당은 깔끔하게 잘 정리되어있습니다. 그리고 식당 밖에 "바다가 육지라면 이별은 없었을 것을, 그리운 내고향 함경남도 단천" 이라고 문구를 붙혀놓았는데.. 앞에는 노래가사인듯하고, 뒤는 그냥 고향이 그립다는 말 같은데.. 요상하게 두 문장을 섞었네요.. 말도 안되게~ 그냥 떼는게 좋겠습니다. ㅋ 어쨋거나 맛나게 잘 먹었습니다.

우선 입구에 대기표를 받고 기다리다 입장하면, 무, 장국, 앞접시등 셀프대가 보입니다. 아 물까지 셀프네요. 그리고 메뉴를 살펴보면, 명태회냉면 10,000원. 단천냉면 11,000원.... 명태회냉면은 고추 두개가 붙어있어 매운것 같아서 매운거 못먹는 사람은 천원 비싼 단천냉면을 주문해야 하네요? 아니 냉면따위가 11,000원 이라니.. 이거 너무 한거아닐까요? 곱배기 메뉴도 은근슬적 없어지고, 사리 추가 4,000원. 그리고 심각한건 순대메뉴.. 죄다 공장순대일텐데, 한마리 18,000원....호구되는 느낌이네요. 솔직히 이식당의 냉면 11,000원씩이나 주고 먹을 가치가 없는 맛입니다. 속초 어딜가도 맛은 죄다 비슷합니다. 50일 숙성은 무슨... 50일 숙성하다 썩지나 않으면 다행이겠네요.
