Probably my most memorable meal in Sokcho. Walking distance from Waterpia, this humble looking shop is worth the visit. Since the food they serve is mostly seafood, I believe it's Muslim friendly. Of course if you're Muslim do go at your own discretion. Everything tastes home cooked and prepared with love by the two ladies. The banchan was generous and tasty, especially the one with dried pollack. The dried pollack soup was comforting. My personal favourite was their potato pancake-it was soft, chewy and crispy. My wife loved the soondobu. The two ladies also made sure that we feel comfortable, checking in if everything was OK and chatted with us even though we could only communicate in English. The lady makes some amazing food; both the main dishes, like the tofu soup, and the side dishes (which she gives soooo many of), are very tasty.
