Visiting the area (from the UK) and dined here last night. We were greeted with a lovely warm welcome and we ordered our food from the set menu which was 3 courses including a bottle of wine. The food was amazing! Nicely presented, very tasty and lots of it so be warned- don't fill up on the complimentary bread and olives beforehand! The restaurant is located at the bottom of the historic town and we were parked at the top in our motorhome but it was well worth the walk down (and back up again!) as we were able to stop on the bridge to take in the beautiful views on the way. Nice spot to watch the world go by. Food is good. Lamb was well cooked and tasted nice potato’s delicious, carrots looked tinned. Great views of the old town of Ainsa and the river. Server was more than happy to speak in English,and friendly , I was good to try in Spanish. Looked like a nice upstairs seating area, with nice bathrooms . We ate on the patio. Après avoir fréquenté pendant des années cette région magnifique et très récemment (09/2025)je tenais à mettre en exergue ce restaurant familial ,qui à mon avis est le meilleur d’Ainsa ,et de loin ,dans sa catégorie.Depuis très longtemps ,les propriétaires Eva et Alberto ,n’ont eu de cesse de proposer une cuisine authentique ,fine ,mais aussi populaire avec des produits locaux, des tapas incroyables dans un cadre raffiné (ne pas manquer la salle du restaurant à l’étage décorée avec goût par Eva qui oscille entre sobriété, design ).En ce qui concerne le service, un homme EXTRAORDINAIRE , Carlos ,de L’étoffe des héros !,d’un grand maître d’hôtel (ayant été moi même issu de ce métier à Paris et formateur je parle en connaissance de cause ).prévenant, au petit soin,polyglotte,attentif aux détails ,d’un dynamisme à toute épreuve ,bref,unPersonnage incontournable de cet établissement depuis des lustres(Les propriétaires étaient présents aussi sur la place Mayor du Château jusqu’à récemment).Côté cuisine , des plats typiques avec toujours le souci de l’innovation(tradition et modernité) et côté cafétéria des tapas succulentes qui raviront nos papilles ankylosées par les ersatz actuels.Bref, INCONTOURNABLE.un très grand bravo à toute...
