Miss Maruja — Restaurant in A Coruña

1 extra star for the friendly waiter at the bar, but the waitress (brownish longish hair with blonde streaks) was incredibly rude. You couldn't do a better job if you purposely tried to bully new customers. Was forced in a commanding rude tone to leave my small tugged in umbrella at door, where it got squished and bent by big ones .... She didn't attend to me at all, ignored me looking for a table, and seems to think that someone walks around in the rain with sunglasses for fun and not bec of eye problems. Everyone else that afternoon noticed that I wasn't well, but dizzy and couldn't see well, but she just was unacceptably rude in addition to ignoring me. Not a single welcoming word or anything, whatsoever. She also doesn't understand the word "vegano". Dumped the menu, then my cake without a word on the other end of the table, I didn't even see her bringing the menu. Anyways, coffee and cake without taste and no ambience at all, music just background noise, decor not cool outdated but just cheaply not updated, incl ugly...

just wow. 5 stars for everything for me is A LOT. i loved the vibe, they seated me immediately. this seems like a spot you go to before dinner after work. i got a rooibos tea with a side of soy milk and honey (milk always in rooibos tea cause im south african lol. don’t knock until you try) and i got a slide of the clearly infamous carrot cake- if you’ve read the other reviews. GOD DAMN. carrot cake slapped. i’m gonna be comparing every carrot cake i ever eat to this one. and the service was beautiful - everyone was so nice. i sat and journaled in there and it just felt so sweet and nice. i left there feeling better than when...

Le pongo 1 estrella porque no puedo ponerle 0, lo de este sitio es de vergüenza. He ido un par de veces y nunca me habían tratado tan mal, pero hace poco volví y tuve la peor de las experiencias, estuve esperando 20 minutos a que un camarero me tomara nota y ninguno se dignó a hacerlo, mientras personas que llegaron después que yo ya tenían su café en la mesa. Yo comprendo que es un sitio que tiene una densidad de clientes importante, sin embargo, no es posible que una de las camareras (la chica rubia) me diera la carta con una prepotencia tirándola sobre la mesa, cuando ya llevaba un rato esperando y para colmo, después de este acto poco profesional y totalmente de mal gusto, su compañero salió y atendió a las chicas que llegaron después que yo mientras yo lo llamé para que por favor nos tomara nota. Pues bien, seguí allí esperando a que me tomara nota mientras iba y venía y todas las veces que pasaba me decía que luego me tomaba nota mientras me ignoraba deliberadamente. Aquí no puedo describir lo mal que me sentí y la forma tan poco profesional que tuvieron de tratarme. Yo soy una persona muy educada y por eso preferí no acercarme a la barra a recordarles que llevaba ahí 20 minutos esperando para nada, cuando a la gente de mi al rededor si les atendían, pero el mal sabor de boca con el que me fui no es ni medio normal.
