The ambiance was nice (although once all the tables were full and all the lights got turned on, it got a bit too bright inside) and the service was good (our waitress spoke English and she even went ahead with some recommendations for a few wine bars in Galicia). Unfortunately where NaDo fell short was the main reason we were there. We went with the tasting menu (5 dishes + 1 dessert), and we also ordered their homemade sourdough bread. The bread itself was nothing extraordinary but they put it on the grill after putting olive oil on it which was a nice touch. The first 2 dishes were OK (rilletes de raya & sardinas en kombu), the third one was quite good (trucha), the last two were just not to our liking, one too bland, the other just a strange combination of flavors. The flan was the highlight of the dinner. The inconsistency of the dishes left us disappointed and we thought that we overpaid for the experience. Although the quality of ingredients was good, the execution was poor. We sat at the table closer to the kitchen, which was fun since we got to watch what was happening in the kitchen but after we left the restaurant, our clothes smelled like we sat by a...
Read moreThis is the first time I was truly captured by an experience in a long time. I was so in the moment I don’t have any photos of the gorgeous food or the amazing atmosphere.
The atmosphere is very unique, elegant, and feel like it’s really only you in the restaurant even though you’ll probably have people on each side of you. I don’t know how they did it, but it is a very special place.
You can do Al a cart or the tasting menu. We did the tasting menu. I have no regrets, it was out of this world. I keep dreaming of the eggplant which was heavenly.
