Poor service. Non consistent food. Average atmosphere. Questionable pricing tactics. Mostly coming from the elderly man who works there.

We ate here twice. We liked the food on the first time. Chicken (with beans and local roast potatoes) and tortilla. We decided to order the chicken again the second time we passed by. This time, it arrived as a different dish (2 slices of tomato and half cooked fries) and very hard dry chicken. When we questioned why the dish changed, the man’s reply was “that’s all we have”. We said “but you didn’t tell us before serving”. His response was “you eat what we serve”. We didn’t want fries and wanted more veggies but he was just angry at us. We then requested he at least give us more tomatoes. We got literally one sliced tomato between the two of us and they tried to charge 6.50 for this. We disputed the bill saying he needs to change this charge or we will leave. This angered him so much that he picked an empty beer bottle and came at me. I had to pick a chair to defend myself. The shouting brought his wife out from the kitchen. She was a lovely lady. She listened to what happened, apologised and adjusted the bill.

If customers are treated this way by this man then I’m worried about how he treats his family and staff in this business.

I entered the bar and asked if I could have almogrote and if they could toast the bread. “NO” the barman said. I said “that’s ok”, just give me the bread you have with the cheese. He came back with the order, without a plate to eat in… had to ask for it. The man was very unpleasant and though the place is nice, I’d never go back. The bread was awful btw, and could’ve been easily toasted… on top of that, the price on the menu was 3,50€, and when I went to pay he charged me 0,50€ for bread… which wasn’t marked on the menu. La ubicación, servicio y el restaurante muy bonito pero la comida deja mucho que desear. Me habían recomendado este restaurante y también aparece como uno de los mejores de la isla y para nosotros no lo fue. Pedimos una ensalada mixta que costaba 6.50 e😖 la cual estaba compuesta por millo, lechuga, tomate y pepino, ni siquiera atún ni huevo no se algo que se justificara con el precio y para colmo el tamaño del plato se reducía casi a una tapa😓. El queso de la gomera 7.50 e y te ponen 6 mini trozos que casi ni se ven en el plato no es ni una tapa, aunque estaba bueno pero muy penoso la verdad. Calamares rebozados 10 e, una cantidad de media ración con papas y judías verdes de bote no estaban mal pero eran calamares de bolsa congelada. Chocos a la plancha 13.50, dos buenos trozos de chocos que eran como masticar chicle, 3 míseras papas arrugadas y judías verdes de bote.

Por último dos helados kalise de trufo plus a 3'25 cada uno que pensábamos que tenían música pero no era así.

Como último aporte algunos platos que observamos en otras mesas las raciones eran como una tapa o menos.. las croquetas eran 4 contadas,la ensaladilla una tapilla, el conejo 3 trocitos y la carne de cabra 3 trocitos, total que los precios son muy exagerados a lo que sirven.

51.50 nos costó lo que comimos y no merecía ese precio para nada porque lo que comimos estaba valorado en 20/25 e como mucho.

Una pena porque el servicio fue muy bueno y rápido pero la ejecución final fue una decepción. No quiero ni imaginar una cuenta de 5 o...
