Restaurante Compostela — Restaurant in Alaior

Have been visiting Menorca and Son Bou for many years, and after trying nearly all other cafes and restaurants, we only ever eat here! People think we are mad, but the service is spot on, the owner is a lovely bloke, the food is top notch. The fillet steaks are among the best I've had anywhere, and the food is a mile above anything served at any other place here! Why bother visiting different places each night, just to come away with at best a disappointed experience, at worse, hungry, as you didn't finish your meal? I'm going back this summer, I hope nothing...

We opted for the 3 course set menu at €16 per person with a drink thrown in. Food was excellent, great value for the price, hearty starters and main courses followed by nice desserts. Very large restaurant, wasn't too busy which would normally deter us, but glad we took the plunge, lovely meal. Nice view of the sunset over majorca too. Visited here twice and both times we were seen too immediately and service was great! Nice location at the top of the hill from son bou beach! The menu has lots of choice for food, drinks and dessert including daily specials! Parking facing the restaurant which was free! Didn’t use the indoor facilities as we sat outside which was a lovely area covered so you were in the shade to get a break...
