After all it wasn't a good experience, degustation menu, none of the twelve dishes had anything especial. The white wine wasn't cool, in the place of ice it had water and suggested to put into the freezer and the waither only add salt to the water, couldn't drink it, left more than half a bottle. The way the waiter explained a couple of dishes was discusting, as rabbit blood sauce and salive glánduls from the porc, encourage to vomit in place of trying the food. The dishes in general were poor and mediocre, we were ready to leave half the way, there was no harmonie between dishes, suddenly one was very spicy and kill the next one after. Brownie for dessert was too dry. The basket with bread had ants inside, and we spent time watching the spider in the wall eating another ant, poor thing. The waiter spoke to us looking at the cealing, and before finishing the explanation he used to turn his back on us. Bad service, bad food, the ambient poor as well, no idea why it shows number one in trip advisor. High recommend to avoid this place Gaudir Tempus and going to Atalaya, much better service and amazing food, for even better price. Sincerely Benjamin...
Read moreWe had the menu del dia which was €16.50 . Although slightly more than the average price for menu of the day charged by restaurants along the promenade, it is certainly a cut above in terms of the food offering. The menu included an amuse bouche and three starters, main and dessert, but does not include a drink.Bread included three different olive oils to dip.For mains we had the sea bass and " sticky" rice with duck. For me the sticky rice dish was the only disappointment, as I think it was to watery , and not like a risotto which I think it was meant to be. The decor , crockery is also visually pleasing. I have given three stars , as you can't provide 3 and a half stars. Service was friendly but a bit erratic. I would like to visit again, as I feel its worthy of 4...
Read moreA really stand out place in town. The bread was genuinely some of the best bread I’ve ever had- still warm and paired amazingly with the three olive oils they bring.
The starters were delicious, and quite generous! Our favourite was the cocoa and almond foie gras- such an amazing combo I’ve never tried before! We were really pleased with everything we tried and even got a takeaway cheesecake because even though we were stuffed, we knew it would likely be standout great (and the next day, it was!)
But mainly it was the service that stood out to us. The waiter was very helpful and attentive, and when we had trouble organising transport home, the owner stepped in to help us out personally. Just a really lovely...
