Pata Palo — Restaurant in Alicante

Avoid this place. Now let me explain why.

The service is poor. The food we ordered was cold on arrival so we sent it back with ketchup still on the fries. It returned about 8 minutes later the burger was now hot but it was served with the original fries we sent back that were now stone cold with the ketchup still on them. The portions are small for the price and the food we had was just not good. €4 for a lemon slush and 9.50€ for the smallest veggie burger with no more than 12 chips on the plate.

I wish I had looked on Google before choosing this place. So I take partial responsibility for not doing my home work. It was a terrible experience that was expensive with service and cold food...

The waiter and waitress were not friendly and even a bit rude, not bother to take order after we requested twice. Drinks came to the table after 20 minutes as we chase twice. For the food, we kept waiting for half an hour but still nothing on the table. But we did notice they served pancake to the next table which just sat down for 10 minutes, who spoke Spanish. We chased our order but no one care.

It was a hot day so we ordered a small jar of Sangria which was not priced on the drink menu. At the end we found out they charged 20euros for that. What a lesson!

The taste of sandwish and burger were fine.

Great location - crap restaurant!!

DO NOT EAT HERE! Food took aaages to arrive, then 3 of us received our food and the child’s food didn’t arrive. After chasing them up, they said that they had been delivered, when clearly they hadn’t. They then finally brought them over some 10-15 minutes after the rest of us had finished. It’s not fun for anyone trying to eat when you have a hungry child waiting for their dinner! There were no apologies or anything from the serving staff or owner - would not go back again or...
