Restaurante Lisboa Slow — Restaurant in Almuñécar

This is going to be a must everytime i can. The coffee is absolutely delicious, in any of its ways. For food we had: Poke Bowl: in a hot summer day this is the right choice, it is not an overcomplicated dish, but the choice of ingredients and the way they are treated make it something delicious. The portion was just right, and i loved the fact of the soy sauce and the kimchi’s mayo served apart so you can decide how much to put on (honestly is never too much kimchi’s mayo 🤤)

Club Sandwich: well this is no more than what we all know as a club’s sandwich, but again, THE INGREDIENTS, the chicken is so delicious, and the amount of mayo, lettuce, is just perfect.

Ceasar’s salad: Again, nothing crazy out of what we all know of this salad, and to be honest the dressing, the chicken, and just every ingredients is of a great quality, you notice that when tasting, and they add avocado, which, come on, it is a great addition.

What i find remarkable is how they treat every product they serve, this is hard to find anywhere. The environment and how we were treated was just perfect.

This is a gem in the south of Andalucía...

Overall it was a good experience.

Let's start with what wasn't perfect (but still completely acceptable): We had to wait 5 minutes for the waiters to put together table and chairs for our unannounced party of 7. Not all waiters spoke English, but I wouldn't really expect that even during tourist season and we were there off season. Finally a tiny bit annoying was that also a bunch of things on their menu was also "off season" and that wasn't announced before we started to order so we had to ask item by item as they were taking the order.

We got some some good paté with patio and other things mixed in and crackers on the side as we waited. And when we got the food; the meat we got was perfect, the kids burgers were good and the ribs were delicious and so were the grilled vegetables, fries, sauces etc on the sides. Also their ice cream desserts were really good.

I went to Lisboa almost every day during my holiday. Situated directly by the beach, with simple yet elegant interior and really friendly service you can experience a relaxing and cheerful atmosphere. The food, like the coffee is freshly made and always of good quality. The menu has a lot of variety to it so every taste bud can find something to their liking wether you’re there for breakfast, lunch, dinner, a snack, a meal or a drink. The food also doesn’t take long to arrive (especially considering it’s freshly cooked) and even when it was busy the wait wasn’t too long and nothing to complain about. I personally recommend the freshly pressed orange juice which was sweet and full of flavour and the cakes (of which I had many). Lisboa is my favourite place to go in...
