Really worth it! I'm not a paella expert, but I think this tops the best I've ever had in Spain. The place is a bit hidden off the main road between Altea and Cap Negret, easy to miss so keep your antennas tuned. There's safe and ample parking on premises by the main building. We were here on a Sunday 9pm, a few tables were available yet but it started to fill up, so we suggest to call in advance to reserve a table. Friendly and efficient service, the staff was lovely, and as I mentioned amazing paella but also fantastic prices. A glass of great verdejo wine for 3 euros? Nice espresso for 1.50 euros? Imagine the cost of having this experience in the US... :) it's all inviting you to try all the appetizers, deserts and drinks without going broke and enjoying awesome food. Well done! We had the seafood paella which was out of this world. Pan con tomate and pimientos del padron for appetizer. Cheese cake and Catalan cream for dessert. And a glass of Pacharán as "digestive". So good! Highly recommend this place. If I were to ask for any improvement, it would be have a couple roof fans installed in the terrace to make it more breezy in the hot summer evenings. Visited whilst on holiday, 3 adults and 1 child We didn't book a table and on arrival we were told that we had to be finished by 9.30 There was a couple of other tables that were occupied The waiter kept pointing at tables saying they were all reserved, clearly not visible to anyone entering the restaurant Drinks and food ordered Food was OK, nothing too special but nothing for us to complain about either really However, the morning after myself and my partner felt sick and we shared a mix Paella! The service was appalling After taking our order, not once were we offered further drinks or even to look at a pudding menu, basically just left! At least one pudding potentially was going to be ordered but we got fed up with waiting! BIEN, BIEN, MUY BIEN * Como siempre que puedo, empezaré indicando para complementar la ubicación de este lugar que sus coordenadas son 38°37'05.7"N 0°01'48.7"W o bien 38.618378, -0.030008 dependiendo del sistema que utilicemos para su localización, completándolo con su dirección de Partida La Olla, 15 en el distrito postal 03590 de l’Olla – Altea (Alicante), que tiene como teléfono de contacto el 965 842 563 y que es la experiencia personal de mi visita en un día determinado de Octubre del 2022.

Visita a la que fuimos invitados por unos amigos también de Santander (Cantabria) que ya habían estado en otra ocasión y al quedar contentos, quisieron agradarnos con su detalle, lográndolo con creces. A pie de carretera se encuentra este restaurante flanqueado por dos aparcamientos que son de agradecer me imagino, sobre todo en temporada alta. Llegamos con tiempo suficiente a la hora reservada por lo que dimos un pequeño paseo por sus alrededores, disfrutando de sus vistas y de unos vinos en locales cercanos. En una mesa perfectamente ubicada con vistas al exterior con unos pequeños manteles individuales, disfrutamos de un entrante de ensalada de tomate, pimiento y bonito (atún) con cebolla y aceitunas, aliñado a la perfección junto al típico pan con tomate y ali-oli. En su generosa carta observamos platos típicos de la zona y especialidades mediterráneas pero que, aconsejados por nuestros anfitriones, nos decantamos todos por arroz con alcachofas y pulpo que aunque en principio el conjunto nos dejaba dudas, resultó de lo mas novedoso y rico en arroces hasta ahora por nosotros degustados. Para beber, debido al excelente día que nos acompañó, decidimos tomar un rioja y gaseosa “nacional” “La Casera” que con unos hielos nos refresco lo suficiente para apreciar lo servido. Servicio esmerado, profesional, amable y eficiente el que nos atendió, desde la llegada hasta nuestra salida, recordando nombres como Alejandro y Emilio entre sus protagonistas. Curioso, agradable, hábil y espectacular la entrega y recogida de platos por uno de sus empleados que no pudimos contener las ganas de recordarle en nuestras fotos. No pudimos terminar con el riquísimo arroz que muy amablemente nos entregaron en un táper de aluminio y del que dimos cuenta al día siguiente. En el 2023 seguramente volveremos por la zona y a pesar de que distamos algo mas de 10 kilómetros, no es obstáculo ninguno para visitar nuevamente este...
