La Piazzetta Port d'Andratx — Restaurant in Andratx

7/4 - High class dining with fish, meat, pizza and starters. The standard of the food was very good, but it lost a star for the steak. It was an incredible piece of meat, but cooked so that the outside was a little too burnt, which I could taste. It was a strong meaty flavour but lacked seasoning, and in my view should have been finished in the pan with some butter, again to add flavour. (I'd be interested to hear from the chef about this)

26/4 - Subsequently lost 2 stars. Despite an acceptable reply (see below) the restaurant have not replied to my 2 emails for a refund on the steak. Ideally they should reply and refund and the matter...

Wow! What an absolute gem of a place. These guys are just 1 building back from the front strip. Though many of the waterfront restaurants are seemingly better due to the scenery of the water. This restaurant does not need it. A lovely calm space, a secret hideaway almost. But let’s face it, it’s all about the food at the end of the day. And let me say, our meal here has been the best of the week! We stopped for lunch and it was delicious. So much so, we visited again. I had exactly the same, Gambas Ajillo followed by Grilled Squid. We had an amazing experience at La Piazzetta! We went as a group of 8 and everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The food was incredible, full of flavor, beautifully presented, and truly exceeded our expectations.

A special thank you to Rafa, who took such great care of us throughout the evening. He’s not only a very kind and welcoming person, but he also made sure we had everything we needed and delivered fantastic service with a smile.
