Cafetería Cosmopolitan Chano — Restaurant in Arcos de la Frontera

Looks like a husband and wife pub restaurant. There is a few locals in and out but not usually busy.

I had some tapas in here which were good but nothing to write home about.

This place was not bad but then it was not that great compared to some.

However this place is traditional, its original and its a genuine spanish bar. Just how it should be. A lot of people tend to go where its busy and crowds of people are eating because it looks popular so it must be good making places like this one look bad because its empty. Well thats not allways the case, there are many bars in spain tucked away in the corner not very busy and they easily get overlooked and tourists often walk by.

This bar is one of them and its well worth the visit. The food choice are the same here as they are in a crowded place the difference here is that the people serving you and the people cooking your food have all the time in the world for you.

What they do comes out of love and from there hearts.

I recommend this place for the sole reason that it is a genuine spanish bar with good...

Relaxed and friendly as long as you try to speak a little Spanish😃. The parilla (mixed grill) is excellent, as are the carillada (pork cheeks) and the riñones (kidneys). House salad is good with carrot, beetroot, onion, tomatoes, lettuce, egg, sweetcorn and tuna. Can't comment on any vegan options, sorry🙂 Arcos has not really got there yet although Retablo in the old town...

El dia del portal viviente, sobre las cuatro de la tarde se nos apetecia tomar un café a mi señora y a mi y entramos en este local. Nos sentamos y tuvimos que esperar unos 20 minutos para que el unico camarero que habia atendiendo todas las mesas nos atendiera. Pedimos los dichosos cafés y la respuesta es que no nos lo podian servir. Mi pregunta fue, perdon, ¿pero esto no es una cafeteria? y tienen cafetera!.el camarero con mala educación se dio la vuelta y se marchó dejadonos con la palabra en la boca. Nos levantamos y nos dispusimos a marcharnos pero antes quise comprobar cual era la actitud del la persona que atendia la barra, le pregunte si aquello que habia en la estanteria no era una cafetera y que en la entrada del local ponia cafetería, la respuesta de este señor, silencio e ignorarnos. Valla par de personajes con mas mala educación. Deberian dedicarse a otra cosa. Pero claro por lo visto alli se dedicaban a servir comidas, cosa que yo no vi por ningun sitio que se tratara de un restaurante. Les deseo que les valla muy buen, aunque yo jamas...
