On our way from Ronda to Jerez de la Frontera, we made a stop at Arcos and, after seeing the town, we decided to eat lunch at this somewhat hidden gem (which we had previously located on the web).
Although we had no reservation, the owner quickly found us a table and told us (in Spanish) the daily specials. We ordered a starter (alcachofas with jamon and truffle oil) which was excellent, a risotto for our child, which was so yummy that we ended up ordering another one for us too, and a solomillo of vaca madurada. Llegamos a este pueblo maravilloso y miramos a través de tripadvisor y el primer puesto fue para este restaurante llamado la parrilla de arcos.
Llamamos por teléfono para reservar y nos atendió un chico muy amable, nos cogió nuestro teléfono y nos guardo una mesa para dos.
Nada más llegar nos atendieron muy bien y todo el personal súper atento y amable, iban todos muy bien uniformados y eran unos profesionales.
Empezamos pidiendo dos copas de vino semi dulce y una botella de agua, pedimos una tapa de croquetas de bacalao, un pulpo a la brasa y una carrillada.
Las croquetas estaban de espanto, muy buen sabor muy bien elaboradas y sobre todo eficaz y rápido al servir el plato.
El pulpo tenia una textura exponjosa y estaba delicioso, sin duda es uno de los mejores platos elaborados que probé en este pueblo. nos sorprendió y nos encantó que el camarero venía a preguntarnos qué tal la comida que en otros restaurantes ni te preguntan.
Los tiempos de los platos estaban muy bien organizados no tardaban mucho entre plato y plato y sinceramente es de valor importante para venir a un restaurante esta faceta.
La carrillada era plato estrella y tenía una textura y un sabor inconfundible. El personal estuvo muy atento a que no nos faltara de nada en la mesa. Nos cambiaron incluso los platos y los cubiertos cada vez que traían un plato nuevo.
Sin duda recomiendo venir a este lugar si pasas por arcos ya que no puedes faltar a este bonito lugar. ya que cuenta con una gastronomía muy diversa y en función calidad precio, les debo dar la enhorabuena por su gran labor y esfuerzo.
