We were staying in Lloret de Mar for a one-week holiday, and it was absolutely worth coming to Blau de Mar for lunch—not once, but twice. Each visit was a highlight of our trip.

From the moment we arrived, we were treated not as guests, but as friends. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and Josep, the owner, went out of his way to make us feel at home—sharing both his time and excellent recommendations for places to visit in the area.

The food was exceptional. The patatas bravas stood out for both their flavor and beautiful presentation. The zamburiñas with foie gras were a surprising and creative dish—truly unique. And the tuna salad was fresh, refined, and far beyond what you usually find in the region.

Buena comida, servicio, frente al mar en una icónica casa, claramente de las fundadoras del encantador pueblito costero de Arenys de Mar 🏡 🌿 🍽 🍷 🌊

Siempre pasaba enfrente de esta maravillosa casa, y decía: “ya vendré a conocerla y vivir la experiencia”, la magia de las conexiones de la vida me llevó a sugerir este sitio, que sin duda ofrece una sorpresa desde su terraza en la calle, la interior, cada rincón lleno de detalles y denota cariño.

El servicio y por supuesto la comida, no es la excepción y continúa sorprendiendo positivamente, detalles en el trato, pro actividad de los camareros que al escuchar inglés contestan aunque sea en leves palabras del mismo idioma, ofreciendo su gentileza.

Cada plato, probé el menú de mediodía, una crema de boniato perfectamente equilibrada, casera pero delicada. Un tataki de atún al punto perfecto de cocción y el aliño ideal.

Un lugar para volver SIEMPRE.

Good food, service, facing the sea in an iconic house of the founders of the charming little seaside village of Arenys de Mar 🏡 🌿 🍽 🍷 🌊

I always passed in front of this wonderful house, and said: "I will come to know it and live the experience", the magic of life connections led me to suggest this place, which undoubtedly offers a surprise from its terrace on the street, the interior, every corner full of details and denotes affection.

The service and of course the food, is no exception and continues to surprise positively, details in the treatment, pro activity of the waiters that when they hear English they answer even in slight words of the same language, offering their kindness.

Every dish, I tried the lunch menu, a perfectly balanced sweet potato cream, homemade but delicate. The tuna tataki was cooked to perfection with the perfect seasoning.

A place to come back...

THIS PLACE! Omg why oh why anyone would mark this place lower than 5/5 is about them! Lol gosh its fab

We had nibbles outside that were the perfect tasters that made us want more. The menu is clever, the front of house are clearly proud of the kitchen and their brand

I am a foodie for sure and recommend you ask about their desserts!

A note to other customers- I do think if you smoke (cigars especially in 2024) next to people who are eating youre a bell end
