Fantastic Tapas Experience with Local Flavors and Family-Friendly Vibes

We had a wonderful dining experience at this charming tapas restaurant, which truly stands out for its warm atmosphere and excellent service. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional — they spoke great English and were happy to recommend delicious dishes, which made ordering a breeze.

We tried a variety of local Tenerife specialties, each one more delicious than the last. Highlights included the creamy goat cheese with cranberry sauce, handmade croquettes, flavorful green local peppers, and the famous Canarian potatoes with both red and green mojo sauces. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor.

For dessert, our waiter recommended the local Quesillo — a creamy, caramel-topped delight that was the perfect end to our meal. To top it all off, we were treated to a complimentary limoncello, which was a lovely touch.

The restaurant is very family-friendly, with menu options for children and a playground just outside where kids can play while waiting for the food. It’s clear the restaurant is under new management — the improvements are noticeable, and the energy is refreshingly positive.

When we arrived at 8 pm the place was empty but for a group of teens sitting idly on the porch. For some reason the lady had just mopped the floors and thus we weren't allowed to sit inside, even though it was a rather chilly evening. When the lady sent us out onto the terrace (rather sternly and in Spanish) the group of youngsters laughed. She then came to smack the menu on our table without saying a word. Strange vibes... Thankfully she was nicer after, because we were close to leaving. We chose the vegetarian paella, which is meant to be shared by two. Was very bland and unseasoned, we were craving more lemon (there were two tiny slices), more pepper, more parsley or...

The waitress was annoyed serving us, I couldn't order what we want in the first round, she rushed away in the middle of ordering. Then the other lady inside wouldn't let us to the toilet because it was supposed to be for the customers only. She didn't even bother to check first. Toilet was dirty and no paper. The place was not even half full, so they were not busy to not have everything under control. And looking at other reviews, I see the owner should change the staff instead of...
