Chopstix — Restaurant in Arona

We have been to this restaurant a few times over the last few years, it really is an excellent place to dine. The owners work so hard, the lady takes care of all the orders and the table service, and the gentleman does all the cooking. She has a great sense of humour, with a very funny personality 😄 a real joy to be around, I think some of these negative reviews are quite simply people who don't understand her humour. I don't think she takes fools gladly !!! Good on her. The service was fast, the menu is excellent the place is clean, the drinks arrive in frozen glasses, the plates are hot, the food is absolutely delicious 😋 👌 we've had numerous different dishes over the year's. What's not to like. The negative reviews probably come from the "Same" people that think its acceptable to light and smoke four cigarettes in the course of a meal with absolutely NO regard for other customers in a busy restaurant. We did witness a couple who kindly moved away from the tables to smoke. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this Chinese restaurant. Excellent...

Unfortunately, never got a chance to eat here. the hostess/waitress was incredibly rude. Told us to wait 30 minutes. I asked her politely to take my name and number, so she knows that I’m in the queue, however once we returned.she didn’t remember us And of course, gave away the table to somebody else who showed up while we left. Not the end of the world however, the way she talked to us, was very ignorant, and not appreciative of the business. We chose this restaurant for our final meal on the island and we weren’t disappointed. The waitress was lovely and advised that the portions were quite big and that we would be better off sharing a rice between us. The prawn toast was homemade with quite a thick layer of prawn. The seaweed salad was different to swerve had before, not crispy but very tasty. The food was well presented, hot and tasty. We left very full. The lady owner is lovely with a good sense of humour that not everyone will understand. She isn’t being rude she’s trying to connect with her customers. We will be back on our next trip...
