This place serves amazing food and they are normally excellent. Today we had a booking for 6 and due to a massive storm someone couldn’t join. We had ordered a paella for 6 in advance that became too much food. We requested to have less paella in order to have additional entries and fish. They refused to accommodate the request to just reduce the amount of paella. The explanation was that it was not possible to remove a bit of rice. I told them that then we would not have any entries or the fish and that we would only have rice but that it was just ridiculous, as it was less business for them. I admit I was upset at the lack of a reasonable explanation. One of us is a cook and just could not understand what the issue could be. Even though we arrived just as the kitchen was closing the staff made us feel very welcome, and the service was unhurried, despite the late hour.

The menu was small, which I think is a plus, as you know that everything will be fresh. I decided to order the Turbot, and although priced at a premium I thought it would be worthwhile. The fish that I was served was a flat fish, but having prepared and cooked turbot myself I knew that it wasn't turbot. I queried this, and was told I was wrong.

The other dishes served were all OK, nothing special, but nothing to complain about either.

I wouldn't return again, as I feel I was misled, but it's a pleasant enough restaurant, and the staff were really helpful and...

Weekday menu is cheap and very good. Grilled calamari with Brussel sprouts was surprising but good. Vegetable soup was delicious. Menu isn’t in English so I didn’t understand the dessert but it was good. So my friend returned to eat a la carte also. It wasn’t very cheap but it was very good. She ate mussels and tuna fish. The portions were big. Unfortunately this was my last day lunch in Majorca but during my next visit I’ll definitely go there again. After that lunch we also went to the nearby beach....
