Last year we dined outside, but this year was windy and a bit chilly so we stayed in. The hostess was cheerful and welcoming and the servers sweet like a Sylvester looking at Tweety. We had, pan (2 pieces of bread) with Olio (5 olives and a dollop of garlic Mayo) as a starter, (€8, they charged us for two starters, €4 per bread!) 2 cavas, 2 Estrella beers, and pan fried bacalao (salted cod),a side of spinach because the celery purée was going to be white and I wanted greens, and a decaf americano. The food was good, service not bad, ambience nice….and it was wayyy overpriced.. value not there..over €100 for two, no dessert, so if you don’t mind that! Probably will skip...

We ordered a table by the seaside two days in advance. All good. But no good. We complained of course.
Then they kept us waiting.. and waiting... and waiting. Because we had complained. My parents are both 84 old. It was their diamond weddinge evening and last night in town. Completety disrespectful. Then the waiter said he would serve my parents but not me. Because I complained!! We left.
I have never experienced anything this disrespectful. I guess they are so busy they feel they can treat people people like garbage.
I have been many places, but I have NEVER experienced such arrogance and bad service. Really bad place....
Read moreWe were passing by with my girlfriend and wanted to get a cup of coffee. All the tables outside were free without no sign of reservation. We tried to have a sit, but some woman came to us saying “In Spain we don’t sit at the table without asking waiter first.” She looked like an owner or else there. The interesting thing was, that there was no waiter around we could ask for anything.
