ELUNO Urban Food — Restaurant in Astorga

Es un buen sitio de comida rápida. Tienen mucha variedad de platos, y son bastante interesantes y modernos. El servicio muy bueno, son muy atentos. Fuimos cuando estaba bastante lleno por las fiestas así que es verdad que nos tocó esperar un poco más de lo habitual. La comida buena, el ambiente muy chulo. Restaurante familiar recomendado con un ambiente parecido al Ribs: americano de Texas.

Lo que pedimos:

🍟 Patatas ElUno (patatas gajo, carne mechada a la barbacoa, cebolla crujiente, queso cheddar y salsa especial ElUno (parecida a mayonesa y ketchup o salsa rosa) y barbacoa [🥇] • Brutales, la salsa espectacular. Recuerda un poco a la pizza barbacoa. La cebolla le da un toque delicioso y crujiente. Si venís, asegúrate de que las pruebas porque están estupendas. Cantidad perfecta para compartir como acompañamiento o para uno sólo o ración.

🍗 Combo (combinado de alitas de pollo, mozzarella sticks, aros de cebolla y jalapeños rellenos de cheddar. Con salsa barbacoa y salsa ranchera) • Sin más. Las alitas vienen 3 y están bien cocinadas. Los mozzarella sticks estaban muy ricos. Los aros de cebolla vienen demasiados para mí gusto y los jalapeños rellenos de cheddar tienen forma de croqueta pero están riquísimos.

🍔 BBQ Burger (lechuga, tomate, bacon crujiente, cheddar, cebolla crujiente y salsa barbacoa) [🥈] • La carne muy tierna y jugosa. El bacon en su punto y la salsa le daba un toque espectacular. El pan crujiente y muy rico. Muy bien todo.

No sólo tienen postres comunes como tarta de queso o de chocolate, también tienen postres modernos.

🍫 Tarta de Nutella: un poco mazacote para mi gusto, muy empalagosa. Pero estaba rica y el sabor a Nutella se apreciaba, era intenso. No sabía a chocolate sólo. 🥧 Tarta de oreo: muy buena. La recomiendo. No está demasiado empalagosa ni se hace pesada. Muy bien trabajado el sabor a oreo. Deliciosa. [🥉]

I had a very unpleasant experience at El Uno. While the food was fine—nothing extraordinary but decent enough—the service was appalling. From the moment we asked for a pitcher of water, the staff treated us rudely and even tried to charge 2 euros per person just for tap water! When we requested a complaint form, the employees laughed at us and initially refused to provide one. They also claimed they didn’t have the forms in the restaurant and had to fetch them from home, which took far too long.

On top of that, they were reluctant to give us our receipt when we asked. Overall, despite the food being okay, the terrible customer service made this a very disappointing experience. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for respectful or...

Not so friendly staff. Don't even try to mention food before 19h30. A brief 'no' and another 'no' if you ask what it means. They go into the ignore-you modus. Guess they have some annoying and hungry pelgrims or so? We decided to drink and wait for the food starting hour, to then find out you had to reserve, even though it was clear we where waiting there to eat, weird. Anyway.. food was ok, a bit greasy. Knowledge of English is poor.. price quality wise it is ok.. but hey, not all foreigners are aware about your house rules... If so important, add it to your tabloid that you put in front of your terras. Could have been a four star rating if you took the time to understand what I was asking. It gave us an...
