Whilst travelling this beautiful planet of ours, now and then you find a gem of a restaurant. A part of you doesn’t want to share it because you want to keep it to yourself, however today I feel the need to share this wonderful place with you all 😇 We were recommended this establishment by our fabulous local hotel and the recommendation did not disappoint! The moment we walked in we were greeted like family. The business is family run and if you have seen the movie ‘Nonas’ you will appreciate the vibe. The seafood was so fresh just like it had come out of the sea that day (it probably did). The salad was nutritious, tasty and delicious all at the same time. The wine to pair our seafood was chosen by mama and she did us proud! The service was outstanding even though they were so busy they had time for us. The restaurant started to close and the family sat down together which was so sweet. This is a family restaurant so please embrace the family traditions and the love they will share with you. This isn’t one of your franchise restaurants this is the real deal and I sincerely hope you experience the way we did….. Enjoy 🙂 because you...
Read moreHave visited Ca’n Paco several times in different trips. Their service and food quality are consistently enjoyable. This year, they introduced us a Mallorca prawns dish. The prawns are smaller but so sweet and delicious!
The prawns were served with Tumbet because aubergines are in season. I treasure kitchens that honour the local seasonal ingredients. Living in metropolitan, besides a few things such as white truffles, restaurants tend to source their ingredients from around the world to entertain their patrons’ insatiable requirements and stop respecting the seasonality.
Made a second visit to try their langoustine. They are as delicious as the ones I tried from before the Covid time.
This time, we also made acquaintance with Madelina, a very hospitable lady, who gave us the insights of how the dishes were prepared by her talented sister. She made our hiking trips even more worthwhile. Thank you. 🤗
N.B. must add that their facilities are supremely clean, which is an important consideration for me personally to revisit a...
Read moreWe visited this restaurant about month ago when we went on trip from Palma the Mallorca to Soller, Deia and Valldemosa. The restaurant is run by a family, grandmother, mother and son. They are very nice and polite. What is the most important is that THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS!!! The woman recommended us to take octopus, Mallorca Salad, baked vegetables and excellent white wine. Additionally, we got home-baked focaccia and white paste/cheese as an appetizer. The restaurant is located on a cliff with a breathtaking view of the sea. When you finish your meal you must go on a walk because the area is gorgeous. Unfortunately I do not have photos of the food but I can assure you won’t be disappointed. My family and I are truly grateful for this visit and we are definitely going to come back when we will be at Mallorca again.
PS: Also if you want to practice your Spanish a little bit they are open to talk with you, even if you are on basic level :))) Thank...
