I have to agree with some of the other reviews i’ve seen here about this restaurant. The atmosphere itself is very cool, as it’s kind of hidden below a local products shop in a former chocolate factory. However, that didn’t make up for the poor service we received there. We had a reservation for 9 pm and didn’t leave until close to midnight (not because we chose to).

They sat us and we waited a good fifteen minutes at least until someone came to ask what we’d like to drink. There were no menus or lists of the food or drinks available. They brought us the drinks and we then waited to hear the food available, only by word from the waitress (we’re both fluent in Spanish so we understood everything, but we would’ve liked to see the options listed out and with the prices). We ordered the quail salad, a cheese platter, and the angus beef steak.

Over the next few hours the food was brought out painstakingly slow and there was virtually no service provided to us at all. You couldn’t spot any staff on the lower floor as they were constantly running up and down the stairs. I tried to flag down someone but to no avail. The food itself was good but not exceptional. We enjoyed the quail salad and the cheese platter was very generous, but I found hairs on pieces of the cheese, so it wasn’t particularly appetizing. The angus beef was also tasty and brought out on a sizzling tray, which was interesting. But the overall experience wasn’t worthwhile.

We paid about €45 per person and didn’t end up ordering dessert because we were sick of sitting around for so long and couldn’t find anyone to take our order anyway. Even trying to pay was a hassle. We went upstairs to the counter to pay and waited 5-10 minutes while they tried to get what we ordered. It’s a shame the staff and service isn’t improved as this location would have a lot of potential. Wouldn’t go back, but it’s certainly an experience...

amazing restaurant, situated in a historic building, oozing of traditions and pride. found it by chance, and were amazed at the quality of food, really, really impressive, in the atmosphere where time almost stands still for decades and centuries. the cheese cake was the best we ever tried, period. the fois gras was amazing, the duck confit excellent, the seabass extraordinary, really everything was terrific. recommend it wholeheartedly! the service was a dash slow, all the tables were occupied, the kitchen is at the top floor and the food is brought up and down the stairs, which makes it harder - so take it into account when you plan your visit - and - did I mention? - we...

Best food of our trip so far. Family run restaurant with brilliant food and a great selection of wines. In an underground vaulted cellar, the building was previously a chocolate factory, so nice and cool even if it's warm outside. Service was very friendly and she recommended wines too. Every single dish is amazing and the portions are very generous. Mushroom risotto starter is to die for as is the smoked fish salad, as was the house plate of selected local hams and cheese, will definitely come back

Super charming restaurant set in the wine cellar of an old school charcuteri store. Large family-style sharing plates (two starters, a main, plus wine and water came out to ca. 50 euros per head). Tasty food but a point deducted for *insanely* slow service (friendly though). It took over an hour to get drinks on the table and we spent a total of three and a half hours for a meal that should've taken less than half of that.
