Annare' Pizzeria Napoletana — Restaurant in Barcelona

I'm from Italy and I moved to Barcelona 3 months ago. Annare is exactly one minute away from our apartment. At the beginning I didn't notice it and with my girlfriend we tried different pizzerias with the best reviews In Barcelona. Prices were just too high and the pizza wasn't good enough. One day I was home and i decided to order a pizza take away: I couldn't have made a better choice. I went downstairs and walked in Annare. We had a nice pizza dinner in this place. As Italian, we are always exigent with pizza and related appetizers - but everything was very nice. Appetizers (crocché) were a bit overpriced for what they really are - 4€ for a small croquette, so I don’t recommend. Pizza is good, could be a bit more cooked on the basis but very tasty overall.

The place inside is not that comfortable, it’s small and we were sitting between the bathroom and the kitchen, but they have a really nice terrace that is perfect for warmer days.

Personal is nice, they also offered a limoncello at the end!

Rezension für Annare’ Pizzeria Napoletana:

Der Besuch im Annare’ hinterließ bei uns einen gemischten Eindruck. Zunächst das Positive: Der Service war zügig, der Kellner sprach gutes Englisch, und auch das äußere Ambiente war stimmig – vier Tische mit ausreichend Platz, um sich angenehm zu unterhalten. Die Tischdeko war schlicht, aber passend, und die Gerichte wurden ordentlich serviert.

Was leider negativ auffiel: Dem Kellner ist ein Cappuccino umgekippt – direkt über die Kleidung meines Freundes. Er hat sich zwar entschuldigt, aber eine kleine Entschädigung oder zumindest ein Getränk aufs Haus wäre angebracht gewesen. So blieb der Vorfall unkommentiert, obwohl der Schaden sichtbar war.

Störender war allerdings das Verhalten des Kellners während des gesamten Aufenthalts. Er stand permanent in der Nähe, beobachtete uns und griff sofort zu, sobald ein Teller leer war oder eine Flasche fast ausgetrunken war. Das wirkte nicht aufmerksam, sondern eher unangenehm kontrollierend. Von Entspannung beim Essen keine Spur – es hatte fast etwas von “schnell abfertigen”.

Kulinarisch gab es ebenfalls einen Ausreißer: Die Quattro Formaggi schmeckte leider, als hätte man einfach Frischkäse auf den Teig gestrichen und Käse darüber geschmolzen. Gorgonzola oder andere typische Sorten fehlten völlig – geschmacklich enttäuschend.

Fazit: Potenzial ist da – Ambiente und Geschwindigkeit stimmen. Aber der Service sollte mehr Feingefühl zeigen, und bei der Küche wäre mehr Sorgfalt bei klassischen Gerichten wünschenswert. Aktuell reicht es leider nicht für eine...
