I stumbled upon this Granier bakery while exploring the Sants-Montjuïc neighborhood, and it was a delightful find! The location is super convenient, especially if you're coming from the city center or heading back from the Poble Sec area. Just follow the busy Avinguda del Paral·lel, one of the main arteries of the city connecting the historic center to Plaça de Espanya.

If you're coming from the famous Plaça de Catalunya, you can take the metro (Line 3, the green line) and get off at Poble Sec station, which is just a short walk from the bakery. It's a great stop if you're on your way to the Magic Fountain of Montjuïc or visiting the National Art Museum of Catalonia.

Granier has a cozy atmosphere and a menu full of delicious options. They offer a variety of fresh bread, sandwiches, pastries, and, of course, the perfect coffee to start your day or take a strategic break. My local bakery. Serves some fantastic light bites, from freshly made sandwiches to amazing pastries and cakes. Coffee is amazing and the Service is first class, the staff are welcoming and although my Spanish isn't great they always are patient with me and take time to make sure i get what i ordered. I was staying at Hotel Concordia next door and I had this bakery next to me and we had it everyday when we stayed. We had breakfast here with a large variety and range to choose from. Personally my favourite was the Nutella doughnut and I’m so sad I can’t have this unless I come to this bakery again :( I also had their croissant which had a really buttery taste and baked perfectly with many layers and was enjoyable.
