Bar Bodega Gol — Restaurant in Barcelona

Unfortunately, it is one of the worst places we have ever been in Barcelona - avoid it at all costs; not sure if they were having a bad day.

We sat outside - as We went for lunch, a group of 5 - Came as a friend who lives nearby suggested meeting up there, and the food was shocking.

The croquetas were OK - We also Ordered the seafood platter, and 75% of the platter tasted off/Almost expired - Only the sardinas were OK-ish.

We also ordered cachopo; when the waiter brought it to the table, we were shocked by the Awful quality of all the dishes - but The Cachopo was the worst of all - It was loaded with human hair all over it whilst was deep fried, and you could see the bunch of hair hanging - Had to send it back straight away, very disappointed with the quality of the food, It was extremely poor.

Visited this place yesterday and what a surprise it was!!! We started with a few plates to share, some fried fish, croquetas and tomate salad with tuna; all amazing! Top notch quality!!! The best were the “tiradito de atún” and “arroz de Montana con butifarra y queso Roquefort”, definitely my favorite dishes! I thought I was going to have a few beers and my friends convinced me to stay for lunch, they definitely hit the spot!!! I’m definitely going back to try more dishes, and if the experience is the same I’m coming back to this review and giving them 5 stars!!! Excelente...

This was one of the most unexpected and fantastic experiences in Barcelona. The food was delicious and the service outstanding. We came for a very late lunch and were pleasantly suprised by the great food offering and flavours of traditional cuisine (soo good that I couldnt take photos before the plates were almost finished) but specially the kindness of the man serving us.
