Bar Restaurant Adela — Restaurant in Barcelona

My friend and I had discovered this very homely local restaurant on our first day in Barcelona by chance as we were looking for a place for lunch before checking in at the Airbnb. I'd say it was certainly the best gem for this trip apart from Sagrada Familia. We had the best meal here (not just for the value but the quality and genuine simplicity) that kept us returning since the first experience! When we first entered the restaurant right at the busy lunch hour on a weekday, we were pleasantly greeted by the Chinese lady owner who seemed equally excited to have us too! But make no mistake, this is not at all a touristy restaurant cafe, because it is frequented by only the locals (mostly the senior and elderly), and we were the only foreigners here during all 3 visits.We had tried many different dishes, and each dish was simply presented but extremely fresh (whether it was salad, meat, or seafood) and delicious! The weekday set was only +/- EUR9.50 and includes a drink, appetizer, main course, and a dessert or coffee/tea. They have a different menu on weekends at +/- EUR13.50. Gambas (prawns) were extremely fresh and tasty! It can get very busy during the peak lunch hours but we usually arrived earlier for lunch before we went exploring Catalunya. We were really thankful to the generosity, genuine kindness and friendship that everyone in the restaurant had shown us. We sincerely wish that they will keep their wonderful qualities. Entre a este sitio buscando solo algo con arroz. Justo el menu empezaba con arroz ,asi que pedi un menu. Las porciones vaaastaas espectaculares platos muy bien presentados uno que otro luce exotico como comida de hotel 5 estrellas en balí o cancun. El sabor suficiente para hacer una comida bastante buena que te deja satisfecho y con ganas de volver para pedir alguna de esos platos que se ven exoticos y deliciosos. No esta por demas decir que ademas del aire tienen ventiladores casi personales que le colocan cerca a los mas acalorados. No cabe duda . Entre mas vengo mas delicioso esta esto.
