Bemba Smash Burger — Restaurant in Barcelona

Fantastic smash burger that is done how a smash burger is supposed to be done, great sauces and very friendly staff, good prices and a simple menu.

The place is very small and only has a few tables for sitting a couple people, but it is advertised as mostly takeaway.

We managed to get a table and had a really nice experience eating in, they have a good variety of sauces.

The smash burger is thin and caramelized with great texture, and the bun is fresh and soft, complementing the smash patties, topped with an appropriate amount of their home made sauce.

The only thing we didn't like was the type of "fake cheese" they used on the fries, which I will not recommend and would suggest to just take the normal fries instead.

Bare in mind that no cutlery or plates are given when dining in so you end up eating on the paper that wraps the burger if that's of any...

I went to lunch with a friend yesterday. On the menu they have 4 burgers to choose from, then fries (normal ones or some of their own) and drinks. I ordered the cheeseburger and my friend ordered the double bacon cheeseburger.

The burgers were very good, the meat was not at all dry, although I found mine a little bland, it lacked some salt. We ordered the traditional fries and I think they didn't have much flavour. Taking into account these 2 things, that's why I give the food a 3.

The waiter was super nice and the service was very fast. I found the place to be somewhat small and quite poorly lit, from my point of view. Also the atmosphere it was quite stuffy.

I think for the price, you could find better options, although this place wasn't bad. Also, other places serve you fries right away when you order burgers, while here you have to order...

I used to believe hamburguers were but the last resort when you needed cheap sustenance after a night out. This all changed after having the bemba burguer today with chorizo criollo and a smash burguer, I went through all five stages of grief after realizing burguers could be good and I just hadn’t had a good one until today. I got viscerally mad at how good this burguer was, no idea why I just did not know how to deal with how good it was, I also hadn’t had anything to eat all day but still the burguer and the crunchy fries had no business being so good.
